Position Overview

We are seeking a Senior Commercial Advisor to join our Business Development and Sales team. This role is critical in managing a multi-product line business unit across diverse regions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Enhance profitability and strengthen competitive positioning by negotiating optimal contract rates and commercial terms with both new and existing clients.
  • Manage the reception of all Request for Quotations (RFQs), ensuring they are acknowledged and logged appropriately.
  • Provide decision support by preparing project profit and loss forecasts and analyses to inform pricing strategies.
  • Collaborate on Bid Evaluation Reports and business cases as necessary.
  • Ensure timely preparation and submission of Bid Evaluation Reports in compliance with company policies.
  • Work closely with Sales and Client Account Managers to establish RFQ responsibility matrices.
  • Coordinate with Finance, Tax, Supply Chain, and other relevant departments.
  • Facilitate timely responses from designated parties for RFQ documentation.
  • Compile and submit comprehensive commercial quotations to clients, ensuring accuracy and adherence to quality standards.
  • Oversee the Commercial Analyst in maintaining a quotation archive and register.
  • Generate monthly business development reports and supervise month-end analysis.
  • Conduct revenue assurance and audit activities as required.
  • Present insights on pricing strategies and quotation trends during monthly reviews.
  • Provide guidance and support to the Commercial Analyst as needed.
  • Collaborate with Treasury Compliance to assess the fiscal integrity of new clients.
  • Uphold the highest ethical standards by adhering to the Code of Conduct and Anti-Bribery policies, fostering a culture of compliance and accountability.

Qualifications

  • A degree or professional qualification in Finance or Economics is preferred.
  • Relevant experience in a commercial proposal role, ideally within the Oil & Gas sector.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce and XAIT Porter systems is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint is essential.
