Accounts Assistant / Payroll Administrator Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant / Payroll Administrator to join our dynamic team at Reed. This exciting opportunity is ideal for someone looking to develop their career in finance and payroll, with study support and clear progression routes available.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer the weekly payroll using accounting software, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Cross-check hours worked against time off forms, sickness forms, and overtime sheets.
  • Handle inquiries from external parties and liaise with the management team on payroll-related matters.
  • Assist in the administration of weekly production reporting, analyzing anomalies to aid in performance management.
  • Perform general administrative duties and collaborate with the team to maintain up-to-date accounts.
  • Demonstrate a willingness to learn and understand the purpose and completion process of various reports.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Experience in payroll administration or a similar role is preferred.
  • Proficiency in using accounting software.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt to new challenges.

Working Hours:

  • Day shifts: Monday to Thursday, 7:30am-4:30pm and Friday, 7:30am-12:30pm.
