Job Description

Robert Walters is seeking a meticulous and dependable Payroll Assistant to join their team on a 12-month contract. This role offers an exciting opportunity to provide comprehensive start-to-finish payroll processing services, while maintaining the utmost confidentiality. The role also has the capacity to turn permanent upon successful completion of the interim period.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure accurate and timely payroll processing, including collating information and processing it through the payroll system.
  • Produce reports and maintain spreadsheets, handling starter/leaver calculations, and producing pension calculations.
  • Respond to payroll queries from colleagues, managers, and external third parties.
  • Submit monthly RTI FPS & EPS to HMRC.
  • Maintain P11d forms and submit annually to HMRC.
Requirements:
  • Proven work experience in a similar role, with a strong numerical aptitude.
  • Excellent communication skills, good time management abilities, and up-to-date knowledge of PAYE & pension auto-enrolment.
  • Good computer skills & excel knowledge, with a respect for confidential information.
