About the Role

Cygnet Health Care is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Psychologist to join our team in Scotland. As an Assistant Psychologist, you will play a vital role in supporting the delivery of high-quality psychological care to our service users.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the administration, scoring, and report writing of psychometric assessments and standardized risk assessments.
  • Support the development and implementation of clinical formulations and individual and group interventions.
  • Contribute to the evaluation of services and the development of evidence-based interventions.
  • Work collaboratively with the Regional Lead Psychologist and other multidisciplinary team members to deliver effective services.

Requirements

  • A good degree in Psychology and further postgraduate training in a relevant area of applied psychology and mental health.
  • Previous experience of working within mental health services and settings.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A commitment to delivering high-quality care and a passion for making a positive difference to the lives of service users.
