Assistant Psychologist

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Psychologist to join our team at Cygnet Health Care. As an Assistant Psychologist, you will play a vital role in supporting the delivery of high-quality psychological care to our service users.
About the Role:The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the Regional Lead Psychologist in the delivery and evaluation of effective services that meet Cygnet Healthcare's objectives, national strategic and policy guidelines, commissioner requirements, and user and carer needs and expectations.
You will be working closely with our multidisciplinary team to provide psychological support and interventions to our service users, and will be responsible for administering, scoring, and reporting on psychometric assessments, standardized risk assessments, and clinical formulations.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist the Regional Lead Psychologist in the delivery and evaluation of effective services
- Provide psychological support and interventions to service users
- Administer, score, and report on psychometric assessments and standardized risk assessments
- Develop and implement clinical formulations and treatment plans
- Work closely with the multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to service users
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a good understanding of the role of therapeutic boundaries, clinical risk, and the importance of evidence-based interventions. You will also need to have a good degree in Psychology, further postgraduate training in a relevant area of applied psychology and mental health, and previous experience of working within mental health services and settings.
