About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Clinical Psychologist Assistant to join our team at Cygnet Healthcare in Scotland. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in supporting the psychological care of clients across various health and social care services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the delivery and evaluation of effective services that meet Cygnet's Healthcare objectives, national strategic and policy guidelines, commissioner requirements, and user and carer needs and expectations.
  • Administer, score, and report on psychometric assessments, standardized risk assessments, clinical formulation, and supervised individual and group interventions.
  • Provide administrative support to the Regional Lead Psychologist in the development and implementation of clinical programs.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless delivery of care and services.
Requirements
  • Good understanding of therapeutic boundaries, clinical risk, and evidence-based interventions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Postgraduate training in a relevant area of applied psychology and mental health is desirable.
