Job Overview

As an Assistant Front Office Manager, you will play a vital role in assisting the Front Office Manager in managing the daily functions of the front desk, ensuring exceptional guest experiences and satisfaction.

Core Responsibilities

  • Oversee all front office activities, including guest check-in/check-out, reservations, and service delivery.
  • Build strong relationships with guests during their stay to foster loyalty and repeat visits.
  • Address guest complaints that have not been resolved by team members, providing prompt and effective solutions.
  • Support the Front Office Manager in creating and implementing new operational procedures as needed.
  • Remain vigilant regarding potential fraud, theft, and security concerns.
  • Ensure that communication processes are efficient and effective to maintain high service standards.
  • Perform Duty Management responsibilities as required.
  • Assist in the ongoing training programs for staff to uphold Brand and Service Standards.
  • Welcome and onboard new team members, ensuring they are integrated into the department and hotel.
  • Collaborate with the Front Office Manager to cultivate a cohesive team environment that emphasizes trust and accountability in achieving departmental and hotel objectives.
  • Promote the ALL Accor loyalty program to guests.

Qualifications

Familiarity with hotel management systems, particularly Opera Cloud.

  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a supervisory or assistant management role within front office operations.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to thrive in a high-pressure environment.
  • Flexibility in working hours, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Multilingual abilities are advantageous.
