Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to lead our people and leadership development initiatives. As our People and Leadership Development Manager, you will play a key role in creating a culture of collaboration and partnership across the region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategies to build relationships with stakeholders, including community groups, organizations, and system partners.
  • Work collaboratively to create opportunities for people to develop skills, knowledge, and confidence in physical activity and healthy lifestyles.
  • Support the development of volunteering programs and initiatives to reduce inequalities and promote social inclusion.
  • Contribute to the development of a whole systems approach to physical activity, working across projects, programs, and approaches within the Active Partnership.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve the ambitions set out in the ten-year strategy, GM Moving in Action.
