Job Title: SEN Learning Support Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced SEN Learning Support Assistant to join our team of professionals in Eastbourne. As a SEN Learning Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with special educational needs and mixed ability learners in our network of specialist schools.

About the Role:
  • Support students across primary and secondary education on a 1:1 basis, in small groups, and through targeted interventions.
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement individualized learning plans.
  • Provide emotional support and guidance to students, promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Assist with lesson planning, preparation, and delivery, ensuring that students receive a broad and balanced curriculum.
Requirements:
  • Experience working with students with special educational needs and mixed ability learners.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, teachers, and parents.
  • Flexibility, resilience, and a positive attitude towards supporting learners.
  • Eligibility to work in the UK.
