Job Title: Learning Support Assistant

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join our team at Teaching Personnel. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting children with special educational needs in a classroom environment.

About the Role:
  • Support children with special educational needs in a classroom setting
  • Assist teachers with lesson planning and delivery
  • Develop and implement strategies to support children's learning and behavior
  • Work collaboratively with teachers, support staff, and other professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for children
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of individual education plans (IEPs) for children with special educational needs
Requirements:
  • Strong understanding and knowledge of special educational needs and disabilities
  • Experience working with children with special educational needs in a classroom setting
  • Ability to develop and implement strategies to support children's learning and behavior
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, support staff, and other professionals
