Job Title: Learning Support Assistant

About the Role:
Randstad Education is seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to work in our partner schools across Eastbourne. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting pupils with additional learning needs, helping them to access the curriculum and achieve their potential in a supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide individualized support to pupils with learning difficulties or SEN, helping them to overcome challenges and reach their full potential.
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers to deliver lessons and manage classroom behavior, ensuring a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Assist with the preparation of learning materials and classroom activities, helping to create engaging and effective learning experiences.

Requirements:
  • Experience working with children or young people, particularly in an educational setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with pupils, teachers, and other stakeholders.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, with a strong understanding of child protection policies and procedures.
