Senior Diagnostic Radiological Physicist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Radiological Physicist to join our team at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust. As a Senior Diagnostic Radiological Physicist, you will play a key role in ensuring the safe and effective use of medical imaging equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Provide expert advice on the procurement, acceptance, commissioning, and routine quality assurance of x-ray diagnostic equipment.
- Work closely with the Radiological Sciences Unit to develop and optimize examination protocols and ensure compliance with relevant legislation.
- Supervise and manage staff, providing guidance and support to ensure the delivery of high-quality services.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of radiation safety policies and procedures.
- Registration as a Clinical Scientist with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
- Experience in interpreting legislation and national standards related to medical imaging.
- Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
