Strategic Business Development Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team at Bridge Recruitment. As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and developing new business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities- Sales and Business Development: Negotiate and close sales opportunities to meet and exceed agreed sales targets within target markets.
- Customer Relationships: Develop and build long-term professional customer relationships with existing, new, and potential clients.
- Pipeline Development: Identify and build a long-term active pipeline, exploring both existing markets and targeting new market opportunities.
- Business Innovation: Use innovative means to develop new sources of profitable business.
- Sales Documentation: Take complete ownership of, develop, and deliver exceptional sales and tender documents and presentations.
- Industry Representation: Raise the company and business profile by representing the company at industry events and promoting an image of professionalism.
- Market Awareness: Keep up-to-date with industry developments, maintaining awareness of competitor activity and market trends.
- Collaboration and Communication: Ensure that the BU Leader is fully aware of all activities and liaise regularly with the Sales Director to ensure they are fully updated on all sales activities and potential new business opportunities.
- Education: Good basic education is essential, with higher educational qualifications to HNC/D or degree being beneficial.
- Experience: Proven sales/business development experience from a relevant background is essential.
- Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence others and engender confidence in senior managers.
- Personal Qualities: Self-motivated, able to prioritize demands and make decisions under pressure, with a strong sense of customer focus and team spirit.
