About the Role

The London Business School is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to fill the position of Associate Director, Alumni Engagement. This role will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to engage with the school's global alumni community, fostering strong relationships and driving long-term growth.

Main Responsibilities
  • Alumni Experience: Develop and maintain a world-class service that meets the needs of alumni and stakeholders, ensuring alignment with the school's goals and objectives.
  • Strategy Development: Contribute to the development of a comprehensive strategy for alumni engagement, ensuring alignment with the school's advancement and engagement goals.
  • Alumni Outreach: Develop and implement plans to engage with incoming and current alumni, driving delivery against engagement targets and ensuring a seamless transition from student to alumni.
  • Industry Insights: Identify trends and provide valuable insights to inform the school's relationships with alumni and stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to develop and maintain relationships with alumni and stakeholders at senior levels.
  • Negotiation and Influencing: Highly skilled in negotiation, networking, and influencing, with the ability to manage multiple internal and external stakeholders.
  • Leadership: Proven experience of leading a team in a senior level role, with the ability to prioritize and focus on material issues.
  • Financial Management: Proven financial management skills, with the ability to manage budgets and resources effectively.
  • Industry Awareness: Extensive awareness of the activities of the organization and competitor schools, with the ability to scan the horizon and identify industry best practice.
