- Provide visible professional and clinical leadership within the Specialist Network
- Support the delivery of Nursing and Quality objectives within key areas including Clinical and Professional Practice, Clinical Governance, Risk, Performance and Improvement
- Registered Nurse Mental Health or Learning Disabilities
- First Degree (Health subject)
- Educated to relevant masters degree or prepared to study towards masters with demonstrable equivalent experience
- Evidence of continuing professional development
- Extensive knowledge and expertise across a number of areas e.g. clinical, personnel, finance
- Experience of effective redesign and improvement methodologies
- Political awareness of and sensitiveness to the interactions and interdependencies between the NHS and non-NHS organisations
