About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Ward Manager to join our team at Priory Hospital Preston. As a key member of our nursing leadership team, you will play a vital role in supporting the Ward Manager and providing senior nursing leadership to the ward nursing team.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical supervision and guidance to the ward nursing team.
  • Develop and implement effective nursing strategies to improve patient care and outcomes.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of ward policies and procedures.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient experience and satisfaction.
Requirements
  • First level Registered Nurse (RMN) qualification.
  • At least 3 years of post-registration experience in acute mental health settings.
  • Proven clinical supervision experience and leadership skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
