About the Role

Priory Healthcare is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Ward Manager to join our team at our hospital in Preston. As a Deputy Ward Manager, you will play a key role in providing senior nursing leadership to the ward nursing team, supporting the Ward Manager in the delivery of high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical supervision and guidance to the ward nursing team
  • Develop and implement effective nursing strategies to improve patient outcomes
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care delivery
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of ward policies and procedures
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and experience

Requirements

  • First-level Registered Nurse (RMN) qualification
  • At least 3 years of post-registration experience in acute mental health
  • Clinical supervision experience and training
  • Good computer skills and ability to use electronic patient records
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
