Position: Production Operations Supervisor
Location: Global Operations
Role Summary
The Production Operations Supervisor will play a pivotal role in overseeing the execution of manufacturing and sourcing priorities aligned with the strategic objectives of eTeam. This position is essential for ensuring the timely delivery of products and services, leveraging your expertise to troubleshoot, develop, and implement operational goals while fostering both immediate and long-term enhancements within the supply chain and departmental functions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage internal logistics processes for manufacturing operations, focusing on the movement of finished and semi-finished products.
- Promote a culture that prioritizes safety, quality, delivery, and cost efficiency.
- Oversee the planning, coordination, and management of all internal logistics activities to maximize throughput and maintain quality standards.
- Employ problem-solving methodologies and continuous improvement strategies to enhance key performance indicators within the area of responsibility.
- Design, organize, and execute manufacturing protocols in alignment with quarterly and annual performance targets.
- Supervise and manage front-line manufacturing personnel, typically overseeing hourly staff.
- Participate in the recruitment, selection, and training of team members.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
- Proven experience in manufacturing, ideally in a supervisory or team leadership capacity.
- Experience in generating production schedules and progress reports, preferably utilizing software such as Oracle, Excel, or Tableau.
- Demonstrated ability to take initiative, uphold ethical standards, and maintain a customer-centric approach with a focus on achieving results.
- Strong time management skills, decision-making capabilities, and the ability to assess and measure work performance.
- In-depth understanding of manufacturing principles, concepts, and practices relevant to the role.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective organizational, planning, and presentation skills.
- Prior experience in handling lifting operations is advantageous.
