Role Summary:
As a Production Operations Supervisor, you will oversee the internal logistics functions within the manufacturing environment, focusing on the management of Finished and Semi-Finished goods.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate internal logistics processes to optimize factory operations.
- Foster a culture that prioritizes safety, quality, delivery, and cost efficiency.
- Direct all internal logistics activities to ensure alignment with production schedules and maximize throughput.
- Employ problem-solving methodologies and continuous improvement strategies to enhance key performance metrics.
- Develop, organize, and execute manufacturing protocols in line with strategic objectives.
- Supervise and lead front-line manufacturing teams, typically comprising hourly employees.
- Engage in the recruitment, selection, and training of team members.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or HND, or equivalent professional experience.
- Proven experience in manufacturing, ideally in a supervisory or team leadership role.
- Experience in creating production plans and progress reports, preferably utilizing software such as Oracle, Excel, or Tableau.
- Demonstrated action-oriented approach, ethical standards, and a customer-centric mindset.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to make informed decisions and assess work performance.
- In-depth understanding of manufacturing principles and practices relevant to the role.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Effective organizational, planning, and presentation skills.
- Prior experience in lifting operations is advantageous.
