ResponsibilitiesThe Quantitative Systems Pharmacology (QSP) division at Certara is a worldwide team dedicated to the effective application of QSP and mechanistic pharmacokinetic-pharmacodynamic (PKPD) modeling and simulation in the realm of drug discovery and development. We are at the forefront of pioneering QSP Consortia involving over 10 global pharmaceutical companies and are rapidly expanding our consultancy services. Our QSP scientists collaborate closely with other Certara professionals and clients to develop and utilize cutting-edge mechanistic models that facilitate informed decision-making in pharmaceutical research and development. These models are crafted in close partnership with clients and are designed to be user-friendly tools that guide drug development initiatives from initial discovery to regulatory submission. We possess a unique ability to seamlessly incorporate customized QSP models into the Simcyp physiologically based pharmacokinetic (PBPK) platform.
Qualifications Requirements:
- Postdoctoral experience in systems modeling for drug discovery and development teams.
- PhD (or equivalent) in life sciences, engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of PKPD, pharmacology, and biology and their applications in drug discovery and development.
- Extensive hands-on experience with Matlab, Neuron, or similar modeling software.
- A robust publication record that reflects the level of experience.
