Our TeamWe are a dynamic and collaborative team of experts in quantitative systems pharmacology, working closely with clients to develop cutting-edge models and tools for decision-making in pharmaceutical R&D. Our team is passionate about using mechanistic modeling and simulation to drive innovation and improve patient outcomes.
ResponsibilitiesAs a Quantitative Systems Pharmacology Scientist at Certara, you will be responsible for:
- Developing and applying state-of-the-art mechanistic models for decision-making in pharmaceutical R&D
- Collaborating with clients and internal teams to design and develop user-friendly tools for drug development programs
- Integrating bespoke QSP models into the Simcyp PBPK platform
- Staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in dynamical systems modeling and simulation in the life sciences
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A PhD in life sciences, engineering, computer sciences, mathematics, physics, or equivalent
- Strong publication record in dynamical systems modeling and simulation in the life sciences
- Excellent hands-on expertise with Matlab, Python, Julia, or other similar modeling software
- Good understanding of PKPD, pharmacology, and biology and its application in drug discovery and development
