Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Assistant Banquet Manager to join our team. As a key member of our conference and banqueting department, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning and execution of events, ensuring seamless delivery and exceptional customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the management of the conference and banqueting team, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality service delivery.
  • Oversee the planning and execution of events, including weddings, conferences, and banquets, ensuring attention to detail and exceptional customer satisfaction.
  • Work closely with the Conference and Banqueting Manager to achieve departmental goals and objectives.
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with clients, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to ensure successful event delivery.
  • Supervise and coordinate the setup, execution, and breakdown of events, ensuring timely and efficient delivery.
  • Monitor and control event budgets, ensuring cost-effective delivery and minimizing waste.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve event delivery, customer satisfaction, and team performance.

Requirements

  • Previous experience working at a supervisory level in a conference and banqueting role.
  • Operational experience in supervising weddings and events, both small and large scale.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of attention to detail and a commitment to delivering exceptional results.
