Are you a detail-oriented professional looking to advance your career in category management? We have an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Category Manager to join our team at recruitment22.

As an Assistant Category Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the development and management of our Cleaning & Hygiene category. You will work closely with the Category Manager to meet Service Level Agreements (SLAs), optimize product ranges, enhance supplier relationships, and manage and work closely with sister companies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in managing the Cleaning & Hygiene product portfolio, including selection, pricing, and promotional strategies.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of a comprehensive category strategy for Cleaning & Hygiene supplies, aligning with company goals and market trends.
  • Conduct market and competitor analysis to identify opportunities and threats.
  • Support in defining and executing category strategies to drive growth and profitability.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to negotiate cost-effective deals and secure innovative product offerings.
  • Collaborate with the team to achieve category objectives, SLAs, and performance targets.
  • Plan and prioritize your workload effectively, meeting timelines and milestones as required.
