About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Warehouse Supervisor to join our logistics team at a global luxury Jewellery brand. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations to ensure efficient and accurate management of goods.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and motivate a team of warehouse operatives to ensure efficient daily operations
  • Schedule shifts, assign tasks, and monitor performance, providing training and development opportunities
  • Foster a culture of accuracy, attention to detail, and teamwork
  • Oversee the receipt, storage, and dispatch of jewellery items
  • Maintain accurate inventory records, conducting regular audits to prevent discrepancies
  • Implement and maintain quality control measures to ensure all products meet company standards before dispatch
  • Regularly monitor key metrics such as order accuracy, picking and packing speed, Quality control, and stock discrepancies. Analyse these metrics to identify trends, strengths, and areas needing improvement
  • Develop and refine standard operating procedures (SOPs) to optimize warehouse operations
  • Utilize warehouse management software (WMS) to track inventory and manage workflow
  • Coordinate with Merchandising, Retail, Product Design, Wholesale and Customer care teams to align warehouse activities with business objectives
  • Ensure timely and accurate fulfilment of customer orders, minimizing errors and delays
  • Communicate effectively with internal teams and external partners, including suppliers and logistics providers
  • Address and resolve any issues related to order fulfilment and customer service
  • Prepare and present reports on warehouse performance, including inventory levels, order accuracy, and productivity metrics
  • Analyse data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement
  • Recommend and implement improvements to enhance warehouse operations and customer satisfaction

Requirements:

  • Previous background in a supervisory role within a warehouse or logistics environment, ideally within the jewellery or luxury goods industry
  • Strong knowledge of inventory management, warehouse operations
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency with warehouse management software (WMS) and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Prior experience with the Peoplevox warehouse management system / Shopify e-commerce platform is desirable
  • Forklift license would be a bonus
