Position:
Application Support Specialist
Location: Hybrid - primarily remote with occasional travel for team collaboration

Excellent customer service skills, Application Support expertise, 2nd line support experience, strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, familiarity with ServiceNow, and a broad understanding of IT systems including M365 (experience with Power BI is a plus).

Responsibilities:
You will be responsible for assisting a diverse array of custom business applications that underpin essential services.

Your role will involve managing 2nd line support tickets and aiding emergency services personnel in maximizing the functionality of the various software applications they utilize.

You will take ownership of each support request, escalating issues as needed, and ensuring that users receive comprehensive assistance until their concerns are fully addressed.
This position is part of a collaborative and supportive team environment, despite geographical dispersion.

The ideal candidate will possess:
Essential: 1-2 years of experience in a Service Desk or Application Support capacity, where you have effectively addressed a variety of user inquiries related to application support.
A proactive approach to user assistance, demonstrating a commitment to resolving issues thoroughly.
Strong verbal and written communication skills to engage confidently with users and collaborate with technical support teams.

A natural inclination towards technology, with the ability to quickly learn software applications and convey their usage to others.

A broad technical skill set, ideally encompassing MS365, any CRM systems, and general business applications. Experience with Power BI is highly desirable.
