Job Title: Occupational Health Practitioner

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Health Practitioner to join our team at Gi Group. The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting and supporting the health and wellbeing of our employees, providing occupational health surveillance, health screening, and health promotion advice and guidance.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Health and Wellbeing Support: Provide health and wellbeing support to employees, including health screening, health promotion, and health education.
  • Occupational Health Surveillance: Conduct occupational health surveillance, including health assessments and health monitoring.
  • Health Promotion: Develop and implement health promotion initiatives to promote the health and wellbeing of employees.
  • Health and Safety: Work with the health and safety team to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Employee Support: Provide support to employees who are absent from work due to illness or injury.
  • Health and Wellbeing Initiatives: Develop and implement health and wellbeing initiatives to promote the health and wellbeing of employees.
  • Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other departments to promote the health and wellbeing of employees.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Experience in an occupational health role, preferably in an education and training setting.
  • Qualifications: Recognized occupational health qualification, such as a diploma or degree in occupational health.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with employees at all levels.
  • Knowledge: Knowledge of current occupational health best practice and health and safety regulations.
