**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Health and Safety Professional to join our team at Autismo East Midlands. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of our staff, students, service users, and visitors across all our services.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Develop and implement effective health and safety strategies to meet statutory obligations and ensure a safe working environment.
  • Provide technical advice on all safety matters and assist in the formulation of health and safety policies, procedures, and statements of intent.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to identify and mitigate risks, and develop strategies to prevent accidents and incidents.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Develop and deliver training programs to ensure staff are aware of their health and safety responsibilities.

**Requirements**

  • NEBOSH accreditation or equivalent qualification.
  • Membership of a relevant professional body.
  • Experience in health and safety management, with a strong understanding of statutory duties and responsibilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
