Health & Safety Specialist RoleWe are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Health & Safety Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the safety and well-being of all individuals within our organization, including staff, students, service users, and visitors.
Responsibilities:- Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety legislation and regulations.
- Develop and implement comprehensive health and safety policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular risk assessments and inspections to identify potential hazards.
- Provide training and guidance on health and safety best practices to staff and stakeholders.
- Investigate accidents and incidents, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
- Maintain accurate records of health and safety activities and documentation.
- NEBOSH accreditation or equivalent qualification in Health and Safety.
- Membership of a relevant professional body, such as the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH).
- Proven experience in developing and implementing health and safety programs within a similar environment.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
