About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) Coordinator to join our team at Samworth Brothers Limited. As a key member of our SHE department, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of our employees, customers, and the environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert advice and guidance on health, safety, and environmental matters to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.
  • Support the implementation of robust health, safety, and environmental management systems to minimize risks and ensure a safe working environment.
  • Represent the SHE department and participate in Tier Meeting systems to monitor and improve SHE performance on site.
  • Stay up-to-date with new legislation, company policies, and industry best practices to ensure our SHE systems remain effective and compliant.
  • Compile reports and statistics to brief site teams on SHE performance and identify areas for improvement.
Requirements:
  • Minimum NEBOSH National General Certificate or equivalent.
  • Excellent working knowledge and experience of health, safety, and environment, preferably within the food or FMCG industry.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Driven and strong-willed individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, with some requirement to work days for meetings, training, and other activities.
