Shift Patterns Available:
Monday to Friday 8am - 5pm, with additional shifts available.

About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician to oversee planned and reactive maintenance tasks within our advanced manufacturing facility. This role is essential in ensuring the optimal performance of our state-of-the-art machinery, which has seen significant investment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Adhere to the Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) schedule for all machinery.
  • Maintain an inventory of critical spare parts for operational efficiency.
  • Conduct general upkeep of site infrastructure.
  • Perform regular safety inspections on equipment.
  • Act as the first point of contact for equipment malfunctions, coordinating with external engineers as necessary.
  • Document breakdown repair activities and maintain daily reports of maintenance tasks.

Qualifications & Skills:
  • Apprentice trained with relevant qualifications in engineering (City & Guilds, NVQ, or equivalent).
  • Experience in diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults; PLC knowledge is advantageous.
  • Ability to execute repairs efficiently and cost-effectively.
  • Collaborate with teams to minimize downtime and enhance equipment productivity.
  • Basic computer skills are required.
  • Understanding of pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
  • Conduct root cause analysis to identify faults at the component level.
  • Commitment to safety practices and relevant Health and Safety training.
  • Familiarity with machinery such as CNC Punch Machines, Press Brakes, and Robotic Welding is beneficial.
