The Role:

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Door Installation and Maintenance Specialist to join our team in Hertfordshire. As an Industrial Door Engineer, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining various types of industrial doors, including sectional doors, roller shutters, high-speed doors, and loading bay equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install and maintain industrial doors, including sectional doors, roller shutters, high-speed doors, and loading bay equipment.
  • Perform planned and reactive maintenance tasks to ensure optimal door performance and safety.
  • Conduct site surveys to assess door requirements and recommend solutions.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless project delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain accurate records of work completed and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in industrial door installation and maintenance.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
  • Full UK driving license and willingness to travel.
  • CSCS card and IPAF certification.

What We Offer:

  • Competitive hourly rate of £19.
  • 40 hours per week, with opportunities for overtime.
  • 25 days' annual leave, plus bank holidays.

  • Private use of the van, subject to normal taxation.
  • Call-out rota with a 1-in-4 rotation and 100 standby allowance.
  • Overtime rates of 1.5 times the hourly rate for 40-50 hours worked.
