Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Branch Manager to join our team. As a Branch Manager, you will be responsible for maximising sales and achieving targets while ensuring first-class service to all our customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Achieve branch sales, margin, and targets by developing and implementing effective sales strategies and managing the branch team.
  • Ensure first-class service to all customers by responding to their needs and resolving any issues promptly and professionally.
  • Drive the branch team to achieve sales and promotional targets by providing coaching, guidance, and support.
  • Manage and control branch and running costs, including stock control, cash handling, and customer accounts.
  • Support the organisation's senior management in implementing and maintaining policies and procedures.
  • Communicate key aims and objectives to the team and ensure they are aware of their roles and responsibilities.
  • Be responsible for the daily running of all aspects of the branch, including health and safety.

Requirements

  • Ability to manage and motivate a team to achieve objectives.
  • Ability to communicate at all levels, both verbally and in writing.
  • Experience in building and maintaining customer relationships.
  • Experience with using online and windows-based cataloguing systems.
  • Ability to lead from the front and create a team environment.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Sales-focused with a can-do attitude.
  • Ability to multitask and distinguish between urgent and important tasks.
  • Knowledge of the local areas and customer base would be a desired asset.
