Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and ambitious Assistant Branch Manager to join our team. As a key member of our branch leadership team, you will play a vital role in driving sales growth, improving operational efficiency, and delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Branch Manager in leading a high-performing team, focusing on sales growth, customer satisfaction, and operational excellence.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to drive revenue growth and increase customer engagement.
  • Collaborate with the team to identify and implement process improvements, ensuring efficient and effective branch operations.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring that customers receive a high level of support and advice.
  • Contribute to the development of a positive and inclusive branch culture, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a sales or operations leadership role, preferably in a builders merchant or similar industry.
  • Strong commercial acumen, with the ability to analyze data and make informed business decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers, colleagues, and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.
