Position Summary: We are seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to enhance our finance team. This role offers a dynamic work environment with the option for hybrid working arrangements, allowing for a blend of office and remote work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive financial performance across product platforms, ensuring effective financial oversight and reporting.
  • Collaborate closely with teams in Product Planning, Programme Management, Design & R&D, and other departments to foster strong working relationships.
  • Lead initiatives related to material and inventory cost targets, ensuring clear communication and achievement of financial objectives.

Specific Duties Include:

  • Guide product planning efforts to align with the overall business strategy.
  • Support project teams in meeting and exceeding budgetary and business plan goals.
  • Oversee project funding controls, including the approval and coordination of change requests and project expenditure.
  • Prepare and analyze monthly management reports related to product projects, including resource allocation, profitability, and capital expenditures.
  • Manage capital and expense project approvals, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
  • Lead the preparation and presentation of financial data to senior management and relevant stakeholders.
  • Assume responsibilities of the Senior Finance Manager as needed.
  • Facilitate cross-functional teams to address and resolve significant financial challenges.
  • Encourage operational efficiencies to achieve cost-effective outcomes.

Candidate Profile:

  • Proven experience in a financial role with a focus on product creation is preferred.
  • Strong educational background, ideally with a degree classification of 2:1 or higher.
  • Professional qualifications such as CIMA or ACCA are essential, or candidates should be nearing completion of these qualifications.
