Key ResponsibilitiesThe successful candidate will play a crucial role in the finance department, contributing to various projects and initiatives. Responsibilities include:
- Driving financial performance across multiple projects and programs.
- Providing essential financial guidance, oversight, and reporting.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including Product Planning, Programme Management, and R&D.
- Establishing productive relationships with colleagues in Finance, Sales & Marketing, Procurement, and Manufacturing.
In this role, you will:
- Assist in planning and forecasting activities aligned with the Business Plan.
- Support project teams in meeting and exceeding budgetary and business objectives.
- Oversee project financial controls, including budget adjustments and spend requests.
- Prepare and analyze monthly management reports across various projects, focusing on resource allocation, profitability, and capital expenditures.
- Facilitate capital and expense project approvals, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Prepare and present financial information to senior management and external stakeholders as necessary.
- Assume delegated responsibilities for Senior Finance Analysts/Managers when required.
- Represent the Finance function in cross-departmental teams to address key financial risks and challenges.
- Challenge operational interfaces to optimize cost efficiency and meet capital expenditure targets.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A proven track record in advanced financial analysis and interpersonal skills.
- Strong communication abilities and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Progress towards CIMA, ACCA, or equivalent experience.
- Experience in a large organization managing substantial data or a transition from a Big4 practice.
