Financial Planning Specialist

Aston Martin is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Financial Planning Specialist to drive performance throughout our Platform and Vehicle programmes. As a Financial Planning Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in providing financial guidance, control, and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support key investment, material, and inventory cost targets within the Vehicle Life Cycle team, ensuring effective communication and achievement of targets across cross-departmental interfaces.
  • Support planning and forecasting activities in delivery of the Business Plan, working closely with cross-functional teams.
  • Support project teams in achieving and improving upon Budget and Business Plan targets, driving project financial control and spend requests.
  • Execute project financial control, including budget adjustments and capital and expense project approval.
  • Prepare and review monthly management information across projects, including resource, profitability, CAPEX, and other key metrics.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team of 15 individuals, reporting to the Senior Manager – Finance Operations. As a Financial Planning Specialist, you will be responsible for providing financial guidance and support to internal stakeholders, working closely with cross-functional teams to drive business results.

Requirements:
  • CIMA/ACCA qualification or equivalent.
  • Experience in driving projects in a manufacturing environment.
