About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Deputy Manager to join our team at Aspris Children's Services Limited. As a Deputy Manager, you will play a key role in supporting and caring for our young people, while also being responsible for a small staff team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support and care for our young people, including those with complex needs and those on the autistic spectrum.
  • Oversee the effective implementation of care and independence programmes for our young people.
  • Manage shift patterns on a rota basis and lead a small staff team.
  • Communicate effectively with our young people, staff, and external agencies to ensure the best possible outcomes.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of care plans, ensuring that the needs of our young people are met.
  • Work collaboratively with other teams to achieve positive outcomes for our young people.

Requirements:

  • A Level 3 qualification in Children and Young People is essential for this role.
  • Experience in residential childcare is essential, with a focus on supporting young people with complex needs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with our young people, staff, and external agencies.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, with a focus on achieving positive outcomes for our young people.
  • Resilience and ability to manage challenging situations.
