About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Deputy Manager to join our team at Aspris Childrens Services Limited. As a Deputy Manager, you will play a vital role in supporting and caring for our young people, while also being responsible for a small staff team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support and care for our young people with complex needs, some of whom may also be on the autistic spectrum.
- Oversee the effective implementation of care and independence programmes for our young people through the effective line management of the staff team.
- Manage shift patterns on a rota basis.
- Communicate effectively with our young people, staff, and other stakeholders to ensure their needs are met.
Requirements:
- A Level 3 qualification in Children and Young People is essential for this role.
- Experience in residential childcare is essential.
- Resilience, communication, organisation, caring, and attentiveness are essential characteristics for this role.
