Job Title: Building Surveyor

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Building Surveyor to join our client's team in the Southampton area. As a Building Surveyor, you will be responsible for undertaking building and structural surveys, site inspections, and project management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct building and structural surveys to identify defects and recommend repairs
  • Perform site inspections to ensure compliance with building regulations
  • Manage projects from inception to completion, including party wall work and dilapidations
  • Provide expert advice on residential and commercial surveying work
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and deliver tailored solutions

Requirements:

  • MRICS, AssocRICS, or qualified by experience
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in building surveying
  • Degree or relevant qualification in building surveying or a related field
  • Strong knowledge of building regulations and surveying practices
