We are seeking a skilled Building Surveyor to join our client's surveying department in the Southampton area. The ideal candidate will have experience in completing structural and building surveys, undertaking inspections, and examining properties for acquisition. The successful candidate will work independently across the commercial and residential sectors, mainly in the Southampton, Salisbury, Bournemouth, and New Forest areas.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct building and structural surveys
• Perform site inspections
• Manage party wall work
• Undertake dilapidations
• Provide residential and commercial surveying services
Requirements:
• MRICS, AssocRICS, or qualified by experience
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in building surveying
• Degree or relevant qualification in building surveying or similar
Benefits:
• Salary: £48k - £60k (Guide only - DOE) - Potentially more for those who can bring work with them
• 21 days plus bank holidays and an additional 3 days Christmas holiday
• Flexible working arrangements
