Deputy Home Manager Role in Residential Childcare

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Deputy Home Manager to join our team at Aspris Children's Services Limited. As a Deputy Home Manager, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to young people in our residential childcare settings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Home Manager in the day-to-day management of the home, ensuring the smooth operation of all aspects of care and support.
- Develop and implement care plans that meet the individual needs of young people, promoting their physical, emotional, and psychological well-being.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to provide a safe and nurturing environment, promoting positive relationships and a sense of community.
- Contribute to the recruitment, training, and development of staff, ensuring that they have the skills and knowledge required to provide excellent care.
- Monitor and evaluate the quality of care and support, making recommendations for improvement and implementing changes as necessary.
Requirements:
- Experience of working in residential childcare or a related field.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with young people, staff, and external agencies.
- Ability to work flexibly and respond to changing circumstances, prioritizing the needs of young people and the home.
