Job Summary

Home Instead is seeking a compassionate and patient individual to join our team as a Community Home Helper. This part-time role involves providing support and companionship to older adults in their own homes, helping them maintain their independence with dignity and respect.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide emotional support and companionship to clients, fostering a positive and supportive environment.
  • Assist with daily tasks such as meal preparation, light housekeeping, and errand running.
  • Help with personal care activities including dressing, bathing, and grooming.
  • Encourage and support clients in physical activities and exercises, tailored to their abilities.
  • Remind clients to take their medication and assist with mobility around the home.
  • Accompany clients to appointments and social events, providing transportation when necessary.
