About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Deputy Manager to join our team at Aspris Childrens Services Limited. As a Deputy Manager, you will play a vital role in supporting and caring for our young people, while also being responsible for a small staff team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support and care for our young people with complex needs, including those on the autistic spectrum.
- Oversee the effective implementation of care and independence programmes through line management of the staff team.
- Manage shift patterns on a rota basis to ensure seamless care delivery.
- Communicate effectively with our young people, staff, and external partners to ensure their needs are met.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of care plans, ensuring positive outcomes for our young people.
Requirements:
- A Level 3 qualification in Children and Young People is essential, with a willingness to study towards the Level 5 Diploma.
- Experience in residential childcare, with a focus on supporting vulnerable children with emotional and behavioral difficulties.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and caring skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
- Resilience, attentiveness, and a commitment to providing high-quality care.
