About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Deputy Home Manager to join our team at Aspris Children's Services Limited. As a Deputy Home Manager, you will play a vital role in the day-to-day management of our residential childcare services, ensuring the highest standards of care and support for our young people.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Home Manager in the overall management of the home, including staff supervision and development
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of care plans and policies
  • Ensure the delivery of high-quality care and support to young people, meeting their individual needs and promoting their well-being
  • Collaborate with other teams, including education and therapy, to ensure a holistic approach to care
  • Participate in on-call duties and be available to provide support and guidance to staff and young people out of hours
Requirements
  • Experience in residential childcare or a related field
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and support staff
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with young people, staff, and external partners
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures, including safeguarding and child protection
