Job Title: Digital Field Service Engineer

CV Library is seeking a skilled Digital Field Service Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our technical department, you will be responsible for the service and maintenance of high-end Photocopiers/MFDs, ensuring customer satisfaction and delivering exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and repair a full range of MFP & Production Print equipment in line with technical specifications.
  • Attend to field technical calls at client premises, responding to requests within targeted response times and fixing products efficiently.
  • Ensure accurate technical records are maintained via PDA service support tools and communication with call control.
  • Maintain and manage cloud-based digital document repository access via regular online synchronization of provided laptop tools.
  • Ensure company vehicles are maintained in line with published procedures and kept clean and presentable.
  • Attend technical training courses, seminars, and online training modules to maintain technical skills and product awareness.
  • Liaise and cooperate with other departments to promote efficient operational service.
  • Communicate regularly within technical department escalation channels regarding technical observations to support customer or equipment-related issues.
Person Specification:
  • Competent technician with extensive experience in repairing and maintaining monochrome MFP devices or from an electro mechanical FSE background.
  • Connectivity experience, including installing print drivers and connecting basic printers to simple networks.
  • DBS and SC Vetting will be a mandatory requirement for this role.
Package:

Up to £32,000 per annum, 25 days + BH, company car + fuel or car allowance, contributory pension scheme 5%, sick pay scheme, death in service, and healthcare.
