Job Title: Digital Field Service Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Digital Field Service Engineer to join our team at Concept Resourcing. As a key member of our technical team, you will be responsible for the service and maintenance of high-end photocopiers and multifunctional devices (MFPs) across the South West Somerset region.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and repair a wide range of MFP and production print equipment to the highest technical specifications.
  • Respond to field technical calls at client premises, resolving issues efficiently and effectively.
  • Ensure accurate technical records are maintained through the use of PDA service support tools and regular communication with call control.
  • Organize and maintain a suitable vehicle or onsite spare parts kit to minimize Return to Fit (RTF) calls.
  • Manage cloud-based digital document repository access through regular online synchronization of provided laptop tools.
  • Ensure company vehicles are maintained in line with published procedures and kept clean and presentable.
  • Accurately record and submit work expenses, along with receipts, at the required time.
  • Attend technical training courses, seminars, and online training modules to maintain technical skills and product awareness.
  • Liaise with other departments to promote an efficient level of operational service.
Person Specification:
  • Competent technician with extensive experience in repairing and maintaining colour and monochrome MFP devices, including low, mid, and high-volume machines.
  • Connectivity experience, including installing print drivers and connecting basic printers to simple networks.
  • High level of competency in diagnostic fault finding.
  • DBS and SC Vetting will be a mandatory requirement for this role.
Desirable:
  • Advanced IT networking and connectivity experience, including setting up network scanning and full MFP installation on print servers.
Behaviours:

  • Adhere to all client processes and procedures while working on and attending site.
  • Apply an analytical problem-solving approach to difficult situations.
  • Exhibit good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
  • Display a 'Can Do' attitude and a full, clean driving license.
Package:
  • Up to £32,000 per annum.
  • 25 days + Bank Holidays.
