Position Overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and personable Maternity Ward Administrative Assistant to become a vital part of our dynamic team across our Maternity Wards.

This role primarily involves providing essential administrative support, ensuring smooth operations within the ward environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the first point of contact for patients, visitors, and healthcare professionals, both in person and via telephone.
  • Ensure effective communication with various wards and departments to facilitate optimal patient care and ward operations.
  • Accurately enter data related to patient admissions, transfers, and discharges into the Patient Administration System.
  • Deliver comprehensive administrative and clerical support to the ward staff, patients, and visitors.

Candidate Profile

Essential Qualifications

  • Prior experience in an office or reception setting.
  • Proficient in computer usage.
  • Ability to demonstrate proficiency in the English language as required for this position.
