An exciting opportunity has emerged for a dedicated Community Nursing Specialist to deliver essential out-of-hospital care to patients in the Beckenham and Bromley regions. This role is with one of the UK's premier healthcare organizations.

This esteemed provider offers a comprehensive array of services, including community nursing, district nursing, health visiting, and specialized therapy services for children, adolescents, and adults.

**To qualify for this role, you must be a Registered Nurse with a current active NMC Pin**

As a Community Nursing Specialist, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Participating in the holistic assessment, planning, delivery, and evaluation of patient care
  • Implementing, monitoring, and upholding our exceptional standards of care
  • Re-assessing and adjusting care programs as necessary
  • Actively contributing to the team by sharing best practices
  • Supporting the clinical delivery of services, which includes conducting comprehensive patient assessments, developing and regularly updating care plans, and providing effective clinical care
  • Assisting with the daily management of the team, including handovers, work allocation, and handling referrals and communications

The following qualifications and experiences are preferred and advantageous for this position:

  • Proven experience in maintaining accurate records
  • Demonstrated provision of high-quality clinical care
  • Experience in drug administration or willingness to participate in training
  • Familiarity with standard setting and clinical audits
  • Experience in community settings or placements

The successful Community Nursing Specialist will receive a competitive salary ranging from £31,163 to £37,875 per annum, with Band 5 and Band 6 positions available, inclusive of HCAS.
