Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Learning Disability Nurse to join our team at Priory Hospital Hayes Grove. As a Learning Disability Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, safe nursing care to our patients, ensuring consistently high standards of practice and clinical excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinating the care given by colleagues and leading the delivery of a comprehensive patient/service user nursing assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of person-centered care in a collaborative way.
  • Maintaining the patients/service users' rights, supervising junior staff and students, working collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team, and maintaining a safe and therapeutic working environment.
  • Accurate record-keeping and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of best practices in mental health nursing.

Requirements

  • Registered nurse with an active NMC PIN and a minimum of 6 months post-qualifying experience.
  • Relevant clinical experience and a positive attitude towards change, improvement, and quality.
  • Ability to develop and use flexible and innovative approaches to ensure good practice.
  • Excellent verbal, interpersonal, and written communication skills.
