Jupiter Recruitment is seeking a dedicated Registered Learning Disabilities Nurse (RNLD) to join our esteemed client, a leading private healthcare provider specializing in addiction and general psychiatric conditions. This exceptional hospital also boasts an accredited eating disorder service.

As a Registered Learning Disabilities Nurse, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality, safe nursing care within this dynamic environment. Your expertise will contribute to consistently high standards of practice and clinical excellence, adhering to the Nursing and Midwifery (NMC) Code.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide comprehensive patient-centered care, encompassing both mental and physical healthcare needs.
  • Coordinate care delivery among colleagues, leading a multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless patient experience.
  • Conduct thorough nursing assessments, develop individualized care plans, implement interventions, and evaluate outcomes collaboratively with the healthcare team.
  • Uphold patients' rights and responsibilities, providing guidance and supervision to junior staff and students.
  • Foster a safe and therapeutic working environment by collaborating effectively with the multidisciplinary team (MDT) and maintaining accurate patient records.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
  • Minimum of 6 months post-qualifying experience in a relevant clinical setting.
  • Demonstrated commitment to quality improvement, change management, and innovative approaches to nursing practice.
  • Excellent verbal, interpersonal, and written communication skills for effective collaboration with patients, families, and colleagues.
